As Marketing Manager at Binary Impact, Senad Palic has been part of the community for a long time. Now, as the new head of GameUp! Rheinland-Pfalz, he is connecting the studios even more closely. Denise Bieber also has a new role within the Innovationsagentur Rheinland-Pfalz.

In the coming years, various events and networking formats will be used to highlight what Rhineland-Palatinate has to offer as a location for training and developing games. The new head of the GameUp! Rheinland-Pfalz (RLP; Rhineland-Palatinate) project, Senad Palic, will drive this forward. Palic is no stranger to the industry. He comes from Binary Impact, where he was most recently responsible for marketing as a manager.

“As a fan of vintage and retro games, my heart beats not only for the classics of past decades, but also for current and innovative computer games. Professionally and on a voluntary basis, I have already experienced the connection between gaming culture and community in Rhineland-Palatinate and beyond very intensively. Now, in my new role as Head of GameUp! RLP, I am all the more pleased to be able to actively support, advise and network with the entire gaming community – from studios and developers to politics, founders and gamers,” says Senad. “Our goal is to create sustainable structures and a cross-industry exchange so that great games continue to be made in Rhineland-Palatinate.”

One important project for GameUp! is, among other things, the appearance of Rhineland-Palatinate at gamescom. Preparations are already underway.

The appointment of the new head of the agency has given Denise Bieber, who supported GameUp! part-time as an editor, time for other projects. Bieber, who founded the content marketing agency Content Affairs last year, will remain a part-time project assistant at the Innovationsagentur Rheinland-Pfalz (Rhineland-Palatinate Innovation Agency), to which GameUp! also belongs.
