In recognition of the valuable service that Ashkan Namousi provides to Hooded Horse, and to better reflect his role within the company, the long-standing Chief Production Officer has been promoted to Deputy CEO.

In addition to managing Hooded Horse's production efforts, Ashkan Namousi will play a vital role in supporting the organisation by turning strategic vision into practical outcomes. His responsibilities will include providing leadership support and development, collaborating with the CEO and CFO on the development of sensible policies and systems, and representing the company at public-facing events.

"I feel great pride about the team entrusting me with these responsibilities," says Ashkan Namousi. "We've been on a great journey together, which has taken us to a very precious place. I sense the importance and the value of protecting the things that made Hooded Horse special, while building upon the things that make us proficient. I'm very honoured to be taking on this vital role."

Ashkan joined Hooded Horse in late 2022 as Chief Production Officer, and before that, he's previously worked across various producer and publishing roles at Ubisoft, Paradox Interactive, and Star Stable. He also really likes banana juice.

"Ashkan has fundamentally guided and structured our growth these past years from a tiny start-up to a 30-person publishing team," says Hooded Horse CEO Tim Bender. "His new role is a great reflection of his many contributions to the company."
