Nandita Wegehaupt Appointed New Managing Director of Stiftung Digitale Spielekultur

Nandita Wegehaupt will be the new managing director of the Stiftung Digitale Spielekultur (Digital Games Culture Foundation). Previously, she worked for the Stiftung der Deutschen Wirtschaft (German Business Foundation). She succeeds Çiğdem Uzunoğlu.
Nandita Wegehaupt will become the new managing director of the Stiftung Digitale Spielekultur (Digital Gaming Culture Foundation) on 1 August 2024. She was previously authorised signatory and head of partnerships and strategy at the Stiftung der Deutschen Wirtschaft (German Business Foundation), where she was responsible for the strategic development and funding of the foundation's programmes. From this position, she brings expertise in the management of foundations, stakeholder management and a broad network in the foundation and corporate world. She succeeds Çiğdem Uzunoğlu, who left the Stiftung Digitale Spielekultur at the end of May.

The Stiftung Digitale Spielekultur is the foundation of the German games industry and an ambassador for the opportunities offered by games. Since its foundation in 2012, it has been building bridges between the world of digital games and social and political institutions in Germany.
