Sonja Körfgen has been promoted to Head of DACH Retail Sales & Partner Accounts at astragon Entertainment. Körfgen joined the company in 2017. She started her career in the sales department and then implemented partner management. In her most recent role as Senior Partner Account Manager, she was responsible for the purchase of physical distribution products and managed the cooperation with international distribution partners. Before joining astragon, Körfgen completed a banking apprenticeship and worked as a service consultant. Since 1 July, she has been responsible for DACH (GSA) Retail Sales & Partner Accounts, taking over from Kristina Klooss, who is leaving the company on 31 July 2024 after more than 25 years of service. Klooss joined rondomedia Marketing & Vertriebs GmbH in 1998. As CEO of astragon Sales & Services, she was responsible for the retail business in Germany, Austria and Switzerland for more than 13 years.

"I am very grateful for the trust and support of the team and our management, Julia and Tim. I would also like to thank Kristina Klooss for the particularly close cooperation over the last few months and for her confidence in me to follow in her footsteps. I wish her all the best, both personally and professionally. At the same time, I am very much looking forward to the future of astragon Entertainment, which I will be able to shape even more intensively in this new role," comments Sonja Körfgen.

"We would like to thank Kristina for her tireless efforts over the past 25 years. In her roles, she has undoubtedly laid important foundations for the success of our retail business and made a significant contribution to the growth of the company. We will miss her as a valued colleague and as a wonderful person and wish her all the best for the next stage of her life," said Julia Pfiffer, Co-CEO of astragon Entertainment. "Thanks to our many years of successful cooperation, we are convinced that we have found an excellent successor in Sonja Körfgen."
