Ubisoft has named Sébastien Froidefond as its new Chief People Officer, effective November 20, 2024. Reporting to EVP Cécile Russeil, Froidefond will oversee Ubisoft’s global HR strategy, focusing on talent development, recruitment, and leadership growth as part of the company's Executive Committee.

The strategic role will place Sébastien Froidefond at the forefront of the company’s HR operations globally. As part of the Executive Committee,the new Chief People Officer will be responsible for leading HR functions critical to Ubisoft’s goals, including talent recruitment, employee culture, compensation, and benefits, as well as supporting the company's broader business objectives.

In his new role, Froidefond will focus on driving talent and leadership development, aligning HR initiatives with Ubisoft's global business strategy. He will also lead efforts to foster a diverse and inclusive workplace while ensuring Ubisoft's HR practices support both employee engagement and organizational agility. His expertise in strategic HR management is expected to enhance Ubisoft’s talent pipeline and strengthen employee experience and satisfaction across all divisions and regions.

Froidefond brings three decades of HR leadership across multiple sectors, most recently serving as the Human Resources Americas Lead at Lactalis Americas, where he managed HR operations for the United States, Canada, and Latin America. His career includes senior roles at Coty, where he led HR strategy during complex mergers and acquisitions, and Sanofi’s Consumer Healthcare division as Global VP of HR, overseeing regions including Europe, Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East.
