Five student teams have been selected to compete in the Subotron Live Pitch Competition 2024. They will now receive a mentoring by Rami Ismail, before they pitch their games in front of a live international jury on 22 November.

The finalists of the Subotron Live Pitch Competition 2024 have been revealed. The Austrian indie cluster has chosen five student teams through a jury consisting of Conny Lee, Daniela Etzinger, Tova Bele and Helmut Hutterer. The teams and their projects are the following:

  • “Dead End Job” – FH Technikum Wien – AI Engineering (MA)
  • “I see you” – FH Oberösterreich – Digital Arts (BA)
  • “Mug Off!” – FH Salzburg – Mulitmedia Technology (MA)
  • “Peak Rhythm” – FH Salzburg – Multimedia Art (MA)
  • “Synth Cycles” – HTL Spengergasse Wien – Game Design (Matura)

The five teams will now receive a pitch training by Rami Ismail, who is visiting Subotron in Vienna on 11 October for a talk at Subotron and the Vienna Business Agency. Afterwards, the team will pitch in front of an international jury and a live audience on 22 November.

The Subotron Live Pitch Competition is supported by Fachgruppe UBIT Wien, Fachverband UBIT and Golden Whale Productions.
