Wie Take 2 Interactive mitteilt, ist "GTA 3" für PS2 jetzt offiziell das meistverkaufte Spiel für die Sony-Konsole.

"GTA 3" für die PlayStation 2 wurde bisher über 200.000 Mal verkauft. Für diesen Erfolg wurde Take 2 Interactive nun vom VUD mit einem Platin-Award ausgezeichnet. Dies ist bereits der zweite Verkaufserfolg für Take 2 in diesem Jahr. Im Januar hatte bereits "Stronghold" die begehrte Auszeichnung erhalten. Außerdem ist "GTA 3" laut aktuellen Media Control Charts das meistverkaufte PS2-Spiel im deutschsprachigen Raum.
