Since 2022, Play! Con in Trier has been bringing together gaming enthusiasts from Rhineland-Palatinate. Now, the organizers have not only confirmed the date for 2026, but also provided an outlook for further growth.

"For us, the fifth edition is a small anniversary – and a sign of how strong the community in Trier and beyond has become," says organiser Oliver Jax of Claw Events. "After the biggest edition yet in 2025, we want to further develop Play! Con 2026 with even more diversity, more gaming stations and new creative offerings."

The Play! Con 2026 program will once again feature gaming areas where indie studios, publishers, and new products will find their place. In addition, there will be a creative and artist area for universities, artists, and creatives from various industries. The program will be rounded off by esports competitions and various community areas, where cosplay, among other things, will have its place.
