With "Airborne Empire", Stray Fawn Publishing has announced the second game of its recently founded indie publishing label. Thus, another city builder will be distributed by the Swiss studio.

The Swiss studio Stray Fawn is not only working on "The Wandering Village", which has already sold over 250,000 copies since its Early Access launch, but is also putting out feelers into the indie publishing sector. In March 2023, for example, the first publishing partnership was announced with "Earth of Oryn", which has been on over 30,000 Steam wishlists since the announcement of the collaboration. Now comes the second strike: Stray Fawn Publishing will distribute "Airborne Empire", from the American studio The Wandering Band. With this, another city builder joins the line-up of the still young publishing department.

"Airborne Empire" is the successor to "Airborne Kingdom" and was recently presented at the Glitch Future of Play Direct Showcase during the Summer Game Fest. In the title, you build and expand a flying city while exploring an exotic world. It is set to launch in Early Access for PC and Mac in 2024.

According to Philomena Schwab, co-founder of Stray Fawn Studio and head of the newly formed publishing division, the successful Early Access launch of The Wandering Village was just the push they needed to get into publishing: "I've wanted to do this for many years, but we never really had the additional resources to do it. Now we can finally get started and support other developers on their way. We hope to build a transparent, understanding publisher so that partners can benefit from each other and grow together."
