German esports organisation Berlin International Gaming (BIG) is launching the #GROWBIG campaign in partnership with L'Oréal Men Expert and Movember - an initiative to raise awareness of men's health.

The campaign aims to raise awareness of mental health and promote the prevention of prostate and testicular cancer. By focusing on the predominantly young, male BIG community, the campaign aims to bring the issue into the public eye. A series of social media activities will be carried out on BIG channels to raise awareness. The campaign will culminate in the Charity Stream on 30 November 2024, where BIG influencers and esports professionals will compete in a series of games. Before each game, viewers will get a personal insight into the lives of the esport players, including interviews about the mental challenges and stress of competitive gaming.

"The partnership between L'Oréal Men Expert, Movember and BIG is a special highlight for us at the end of the year," says Daniel Finkler, CEO of BIG. "We are not only excited about the collaboration, but also about the opportunity to raise public awareness on the important issue of men's health. The L'Oréal Men Expert and Movember team are now taking these important messages to our young esports community, which is over 90 per cent made up of young men. During our #GROWBIG campaign and the final live stream at the end of the month, we want to reach out to all these people and raise awareness and educate them with hard but important facts. We are proud to be part of this important mission."
