Rockstar Games, Label von Take 2 Interactive, hat für Mai ein Tischtennisspiel für Xbox 360 angekündigt.

Das Take-2-Interactive-Label Rockstar Games ist für außergewöhnliche, hippe und meist nicht gerade zimperliche Videospiele wie die "GTA"-Reihe bekannt. Doch es geht auch anders: Für Mai hat das derzeit neben EA wohl bekannteste Label der Branche erstmals ein Next-Generation-Spiel angekündigt: "Table Tennis" für Xbox 360. Entwickelt wird der Titel von Rockstar San Diego, dem Team, das hinter der erfolgreichen "Midnight Club"-Rennspielreihe steht. Der US-Release ist für den 22. Mai, der Europa-Release für den 26. Mai geplant. Doch Rockstar wäre nicht Rockstar, wenn sie selbst die Messlatte nicht besonders hoch legen würden: Laut Sam Houser, Gründer und Executive Producer von Rockstar Games, hat man sich das Ziel gesetzt, ein Spiel zu entwickeln, das in seiner Einfachheit einen extrem hohen Suchtfaktor erzielt.
