Das Community College of Baltimore hat Firaxis-Gründer Sid Meier ausgezeichnet. Die Ehrung fand im Rahmen der Ankündigung eines neuen Game-Design-Lehrgangs statt. Meier erhielt den Award für Simulation and Interactive Design. Der Lehrgang bietet High-School-Studenten die Möglichkeit, sich im Bereich Interactive Entertainment fortzubilden.
