GamesMarkt: Where did the idea for the game come from?
Johannes Grünewald: Everything started about seven or eight years ago. Before that, I had already made a lot of small games and prototypes as a hobby alongside my job as a UI artist, but this time I wanted to do something more solid. Originally, the whole game was designed to have only six rooms, but those rooms were meant to be so packed with secrets that you would still get some decent playtime out of it. Somehow, it ended up being more rooms, and the final vision slowly crystallized over time.
