MFG Baden-Württemberg Funds Six Games With 750,000 Euros
With 750,000 euros in total, MFG Baden-Württemberg is funding six games in the current round. 20,000 euros go to EarReality and Reija each, while the biggest batch goes to Greifenmaer for Veil of Ashes. The next round closes on 31 July.
In its current funding round, south-western state funding agency MFG Baden-Württemberg is supporting six games with a total of 750,000 euros.
Four projects are being funded in the category over 20,000 euros: The roguelike role-playing game FENGG - Through the Fairy Tale Forest by GameBoot from Heidelberg get 60,000 euros, the 2D Metroidvania game Symblings by Fricke, Girod, Jorde, Kerbel and Keulertz from Ludwigsburg gets 110,000 euros, the roguelite adventure M.O.O.D.S. by StickyStoneStudio from Gundelfingen gets 170,000 euros and the multiplayer tactical game Veil of Ashes by Greifenmaer from Ettlingen gets the biggest batch of 370,000 euros.
Two concepts are being funded with 20,000 euros each: Firstly, the interactive audio role-playing game "Kadras" by EarReality from Heimsheim and the single-player auto-battler game "Eternal Hunt" by Reija from Karlsruhe.
The jury includes Franka Futterlieb, Managing Director of urbn pockets, Odile Limpach, Co-Founder and Managing Director of SpielFabrique Düsseldorf, Andreas Böhmer, Teamlead ARD Partner Management Social Media, Heiko Gogolin, Managing Director at Rocket Beans Entertainment, and MFG Managing Director Carl Bergengruen.
The next submission deadline for game projects with funding amounts over 20,000 euros ends on 31 July 2024. Applications for funding amounts up to a maximum of 20,000 euros can be submitted on an ongoing basis.
