Developed by Spaceflower and published by ByteRockers' Games, Let Them Trade is a big success for both companies. In an interview, Benjamin Reichel (Community & Marketing Manager) talks about the launch of the game as well as ByteRockers' Net.Attack().

With 1,440 concurrent users on Steam, Let Them Trade, published by Berlin-based company ByteRockers' Games, has had the best launch of any of its games on Valve's distribution platform to date. The whole team is naturally delighted, especially as this is their first game as a publisher. Let Them Trade was developed by Spaceflower from Nuremberg, where excitement levels are similarly high. ByteRockers' Games' latest launch, Net.Attack() in Early Access, also got off to a strong start. Benjamin Reichel, Community & Marketing Manager at ByteRockers' Games, told us more.

GamesMarkt: Based on Steam CCU, Let Them Trade was ByteRockers' Games most successful game launch to date. How satisfied are you and the Spaceflower dev team with the launch?

Benjamin Reichel: "Extremely positive! We visited Spaceflower on the release day and looked at the screen with excitement when the first numbers came in. With almost 1500 concurrent players on the release weekend, it's just great. We have received so much positive feedback and congratulations that it is impossible to respond to everything directly. We are proud of what Spaceflower and we have delivered together. And we are even more pleased that our first published title has been such a great success."

GamesMarkt: Why do you think the game was so successful?

Benjamin Reichel: "Even when Thomas from Spaceflower introduced us to Let Them Trade, we were completely won over by the idea and visuals. This cute wood look and presentation as a board game but also the twist that the cities act independently gives a new perspective to the genre."

GamesMarkt: What are your future plans for Let Them Trade?

Benjamin Reichel: "We will definitely continue to work on Let Them Trade for the time being. With the number of players, we receive a lot of messages, feedback and bug reports on our Discord. The Spaceflower team is now working on the most critical areas and then we will sit down together and discuss further updates."

GamesMarkt: Net.Attack(), which was developed by ByteRockers' Games, was launched in Early Access in June. How satisfied are you with it so far? User feedback looks pretty good.

Benjamin Reichel: "We are also extremely satisfied with Net.Attack(). For an Early Access game, we've made a great start. Since the start of the demo last December, we have enjoyed a small Discord community that has been providing us with new ideas. This feedback has had a huge impact on the development and Early Access success of Net.Attack(). We are pleased that we have already planned with the most requested features from the community for this year with our roadmap and will be releasing the first major Early Access update at gamescom."
