CipSoft cited the takeover of the building strategy game The Settlers Online from Ubisoft as one reason for this more than encouraging revenue growth. At the same time, however, player numbers for its own titles also rose, led by the classic Tibia. All in all, according to the company, CipSoft generated revenue of over €28 million with its 113 employees. That is almost €5 million more than in the previous year and €2.5 million more than in the previous record year, 2020.

“In 2025, we welcomed more new colleagues to CipSoft than ever before. That makes us all the more pleased to receive an award as one of Germany’s best employers, especially one that is based on employee survey results. This award shows that, even in a phase of growth, we continue to benefit from the unique company culture we have built together,” said CipSoft Managing Director Stephan Vogler.

CipSoft has also been named one of the “Germany’s Best Employers 2026” once again, an award the company has received regularly since 2021. And if the staff are anything to go by, that’s not likely to change any time soon. Due to the record turnover, CipSoft intends to pay out a bonus similar to last year’s, which was equivalent to almost eight months’ salary.

In 2025, CipSoft also entered the B2B market and made its in-house payment solution – developed specifically for Tibia – available to other companies under the name Multipayer.
