In der nun vorgestellten Halbjahresbilanz sind Titus Interactive die Querelen um Interplay deutlich anzumerken. Besonders das 1. Quartal 01/02 war für die Franzosen katastrophal.

Titus Interactive hat für das 1. Halbjahr 01/02 einen Nettoumsatz von 75,3 Mio. Euro bilanziert - ein deutliches Minus nach ausgewiesenen 119,5 Mio. Euro im selben Zeitraum des Vorjahres. Besonders im 1. Quartal musste der Publisher Federn lassen: Der Umsatz von Juli bis September ging gegenüber 2000 um über 33 Mio. Euro zurück. Im Halbjahr veröffentlichte Titus insgesamt 31 Spiele, darunter mit den PS2-Titeln "Baldur"s Gate: Dark Alliance" (500.000 abgesetzte Units) und "Top Gun" (350.000 Units) zwei klare Bestseller. Insgesamt trug das Segment Konsole Titus 65 Prozent des Umsatzes ein. Für die Titus-Chefs Eric und Hervé Caen bleibt Europa dabei weiterhin Hauptumsatzland. In Nordamerika konnten über die Titus-Tochter Interplay 42 Prozent des Umsatzes erwirtschaftet werden. Zu der Gewinn- und Verlustrechnung hat sich Titus noch nicht geäußert, man werde aber ein positives Ergebnis erzielen, so das Unternehmen.
