Following its successful debut this March, Dennis Gehlen, Managing Director of co-organiser TaKeTV, has set the date for 2025. The gamescom LAN will then take place in February.

To be more precise, the next gamescom LAN will take place from 21 to 23 February. The organisers from TaKeTV and MYI Entertainment want to start ticketing for gamescom LAN during gamescom in August. Last year, both companies announced their partnership with the association game and Koelnmesse as well as the plans for the gamescom LAN offshoot in Cologne. Initially, gamescom LAN is planned as a national event for gamers and content creators. The debut took place in March 2024 in Cologne and was deemed a success by the organisers.

According to a LinkedIn post by TaKeTV Managing Director Dennis Gehlen, the gamescom LAN achieved a reach of over 400 million and over 50 million impressions via social media. Over 100 content creators were on site in Cologne. Gehlen puts the total number of guests on site at over 2000. In an announcement made immediately before the event, it was estimated that there were over 1700 visitors on site.
