Two Point Studios and Sega have released the third DLC for Two Point Museum, Arty-Facts. Following the Fantasy Finds and Zooseum expansions, which featured magical and wildlife exhibits respectively, this time it’s all about art, facts, and artifacts.
With Arty-Facts, museum managers can showcase their creativity by curating and commissioning art exhibitions and installations in Two Point Museum. This DLC contains a new museum location at the run-down industrial docks of Undee (a five star campaign), an "Art Experts" expert type, and an unexplored expedition map through Zara's Sketchbook.
There are over 27 art exhibits, including "famous" works, which are quirky references to real works of art. Examples include 'Two Point Gothic' (American Gothic starring Gubbins), 'The Persistence of Dairy' (Dalí's Persistence of Memory with pizzas replacing clocks), and 'Box of Truffle Pigs' (Andy Warhol's iconic Marilyn Monroe work reimagined with boars). There are five new interactive art displays as well as new items and decorations.
It is also possible to create Original Art in the new Art Studio. To do so, players must select an artistic medium and choose an expert. The expert's traits and emotions influence the outcome (quality), as they evoke emotions in guests through art. Therefore, the final piece is influenced by the expert commissioned to create it, and players discover new emotions through Zara's Sketchbook (the new expedition map). Every piece of art evokes at least one emotion in guests. They may be inspired by the works or simply hate them. The goal, of course, is to ensure that the guests are satisfied once again.
With new experts and exhibits, Arty-Facts is more than just a cosmetic addition; it enables players to add a personal touch to their museum. Visitors also react more visibly to the exhibits, making the planning process more interesting. The new exhibits also bring the museum halls more to life, especially since the design is, as usual, successfully over-the-top and cartoonish. However, the management aspect is slightly less complex than in the previous Zooseum DLC. This is offset by the higher level of creativity, though. As with the other DLCs, there is a free 'teaser' that gives players a glimpse of the new setting (up to the first star) without having to buy the DLC.
Two Point Museum and the Arty-Facts DLC were developed by Two Point Studios, a British game developer based in Farnham, Surrey. The company was founded in 2016. The small Two Point Studios team has worked on some of the biggest names in gaming, including Fable and Black & White. Building on this experience, the studio released Two Point Hospital, a new IP in the simulation genre, in August 2018. This game drew inspiration from Theme Hospital. The studio went on to launch Two Point Campus in August 2022, which was less popular than its predecessor. In March 2025, Two Point Museum was released to positive reviews from players and critics alike. The game and the DLC are published by Sega Europe, the European distribution arm of the Tokyo-based Sega Corporation. Sega wholly owns the video game development studios Two Point Studios, Creative Assembly, Sports Interactive, and Hardlight.
Two Point Museum: Arty-Facts was released on 7 May for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, priced at £9.99 / $10.99 / €10.99. A release for the Nintendo Switch 2 is planned for later.
Conclusion
Two Point Museum: Arty-Facts is another well-made expansion for Two Point Museum, putting more emphasis on creativity.
