From cozy roots to complex contraptions: Massive Miniteam and HandyGames will release Oddsparks: An Automation Adventure at the end of May. The game will also be available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Oddsparks: An Automation Adventure, a mix of automation and cozy adventure, will leave Early Access on 27 May 2025, just under thirteen months after its Early Access launch. The game will also launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on the same date. "Watching the player count tick up on the day of EA release, seeing where everyone is from, was such a cool sight and felt amazing," said Christiane Ebrecht, Art Lead at developer Massive Miniteam. "My top Early Access moment was observing first-time players when they encountered the first Spunny. They would throw a Spark and feel so sorry about killing the Spunny with one hit. Their reactions to the killing spree your little Stumpy Spark is committing are funny each time," says Lukas Fabry, Gameplay Engineer.

For version 1.0, every quest line has been touched up, the early game flow has been improved, and entire systems have been overhauled, from glossary entries to the damage type framework. Players can expect a final biome, the Corrupted Ruins, and a base defence system. In hostile territory, players will need to protect their settlement from waves of corruption using new defensive tools such as the Aetheric Attractor, Spark Cannon and Scrubby Spark. "We're also introducing World Settings, allowing players to tweak challenge levels, unlock automation features early, or play in sandbox-style flat worlds with terraforming tools. Whether you're a seasoned automation expert or a cozy crafter, these options ensure Oddsparks fits your playstyle. Finally, we've laid the groundwork for future community creativity: modding support is already in testing, and we’re working closely with early modders to ensure a smooth experience at launch," the developers said.

Oddsparks: An Automation Adventure is being developed by Massive Miniteam, published by HandyGames, and supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action with Federal funding for video games (€1.431.863).
