Mit fünften Teil des populären Prügelspiels ist es Sega in den derzeit Nintendo-beherrschten japanischen Spielecharts als erstem Publisher gelungen, ein Spiel für PlayStation 3 an der Chartsspitze zu platzieren.

In den seit Wochen vor allem von Nintendo-Produkten dominierten All-Format-Charts ist es Sega mit "Virtua Fighter 5" als erstem Publisher gelungen, mit einem PS3-Titel die Chartsspitze zu erobern. Erst seit vergangener Woche erhältlich, setzte sich der neueste Ableger der populären Beat'em-Up-Reihe auf Anhieb auf den ersten Platz.
