Die Switch-Titel "Super Mario Odyssey" und "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" werden mit dem VR Kit von Nintendo Labo kompatibel. Beide Spiele bekommen kostelose Updates für den VR-Modus. Somit veröffentlicht Nintendo nicht nur gänzlich neue VR-Spiele, sondern setzt auch auf alte Kassenschlager.

Wie Nintendo heute bekannt gab, werden zwei bereits erschienene Switch-Titel mit dem Nintendo Labo: VR Kit kompatibel: Sowohl "Super Mario Odyssey" als auch "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" werden dann im VR-Modus spielbar sein. Die Updates stehen ab dem 25. April kostenlos für alle Besitzer der Spiele zum Download zur Verfügung.

Via Twitter veröffentlicht das japanische Unternehmen einen ersten Teaser-Trailer mit noch wenigen Informationen. Was jedoch bekannt wurde ist, dass "Super Mario Odyssey" einen Bonus-Modus mit kleineren Spielemissionen erhalten wird, "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" hingegen soll komplett in VR spielbar sein.

Anfang März kündigte Nintendo an, in Form eines Karton-Bastelpakets ins VR-Geschäft einzusteigen. Das "Nintendo Labo: VR Kit" erscheint am 12. April 2019.
