Astragon Entertainment from Düsseldorf and weltenbauer. Software Entwicklung from Wiesbaden have announced Construction Simulator: Evolution, continuing their long-standing partnership as seen most recently with Firefighting Simulator: Ignite (2025) and Construction Simulator (2022). The game is set to offer the biggest construction playground yet. It was revealed to the public for the first time at the Galaxies Spring Showcase 26.
It features the most extensive fleet in the series' history, comprising over 180 licensed construction machines, vehicles, and equipment from more than 35 brands. These include numerous machines from new manufacturers such as Ammann, Epiroc, Sennebogen and Volvo Construction Equipment. For the first time in the franchise, players can demolish buildings with realistic destruction physics, as well as construct new structures. Using hydraulic hammers and specialised machinery, players can clear space for new construction projects. Manual labour tasks such as plastering walls, using hydraulic hammers, table saws and nail guns have been introduced to the gameplay for the first time in this instalment. Construction Simulator: Evolution features two maps - one inspired by Germany and one by the US - each with its own campaign, a Quick Play option, a character editor and single- and multiplayer modes (with up to four players in cooperative mode), as well as support for popular input devices and steering wheels.
Construction Simulator: Evolution is currently being developed for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The game will be released as a Standard Edition, Deluxe Edition, and Year 1 Edition. In addition, a limited Collector's Edition will become available in stores in selected countries. The release is currently planned for late 2026.
