Der britische Entwickler Team17 wird im Auftrag von THQ Entertainment die Kultreihe "Worms" für Nintendo DS und PlayStation Portable umsetzen. "Das 'Pick-up-and-play-Gameplay' ist die ideale Erfolgsformel für die neuen Handheld-Systeme PSP und DS und bietet THQ die perfekte Gelegenheit, die führende Position im Handheld-Bereich weiter auszubauen", so THQs Marketing Director Paul Ashcroft. Einen Veröffentlichungstermin nannte der Publisher noch nicht.
