German game studios Deck13, Kalypso, Well Done Games & Pixel Maniacs and Gameforge are inviting teens in for Girls' Day 2024 on April 25. Several universities with gaming relations are also participating in showing girls the games industry and its learning processes.

For this year’s Girls’ Day on April 25, several German gaming studios are opening their door for girls in school year five and upwarts to learn what they do. Gameforge from Karlsruhe is concentrating on the IT aspects of game development - from system administration to game programming. Astragon from Düsseldorf is showing the work in their producing department - and is offering a commucation department tour in the corresponding Boys'Day as well.

Several universities with gaming connections are also offering Girls’ Day experiences this year, like Hamm-Lippstadt University of Applied Sciences, University of Augsburg, TU Berlin, SRH Stuttgart and more.

Application for most Girls' Day 2024 activities is open until April 24, if the slots are not filled already.
