Jade Raymond has Reportedly Left Haven Studio

According to information from Bloomberg, founder and boss Jade Raymond has left the developer Haven Studio, which belongs to Sony. The background is unclear, speculation about Fairgame$ has arisen.
There is still no official confirmation that Jade Raymond has really left Haven Studios. Her involvement still appears to be active on LinkedIn. On the other hand, the news service Bloomberg quotes an unnamed Sony manager who thanks Raymond for her support and wishes her all the best for the future. Bloomberg is the source that all media outlets currently reporting on Raymond's departure are referring to.
There are no details about the possible reasons why Raymond may have left the studio that she founded (in German) and has headed ever since. However, rumours are already circulating that internal quality tests of the ongoing Haven project Fairgame$ are not meeting expectations.
Raymond is one of the most recognizable faces in the games industry. She became internationally and beyond the games industry recognized as producer and executive producer of the first Assassin's Creed titles. In 2008, she also gave a keynote speech (in German) together with Jordan Mechner at the Berlinale, Germany's largest film festival, on the convergence of film and games. She later set up a studio (in German) for Ubisoft in Toronto and created Watch Dogs. Her path then led her via EA Motive and Google Stadia to the founding of Haven Studio, which was acquired by Sony Interactive Entertainment in 2022.
