Fnac.com, der Internetableger der französischen Medienhandelskette Fnac, hat im vergangenen Jahr den Umsatz um 42 Prozent gesteigert und wirft damit erstmals Profite ab.

Der Onlineableger der französischen Medienhandelskette Fnac, Fnac.com, hat Unternehmensangaben zufolge im Jahr 2004 erstmals profitabel gearbeitet. Die Umsätze des E-Tailers stiegen demnach um 42 Prozent auf 132 Mio. Euro. Laut Fnac.com-Direktor Franck Leprou sei man für 2005 "sehr optimistisch", jetzt wo man Gewinne zu verzeichnen habe. Genaue Zahlen nannte Leprou jedoch noch nicht. In den nächsten zwei Jahren werde Fnac.com mehr Umsätze generieren als jede stationäre Filiale in Frankreich, so Leprou.

Im zurückliegenden Weihnachtsgeschäft waren Unternehmensangaben zufolge Digitalkameras, MP3-Player, Flatscreens und Laptops die begehrtesten Produkte.
