The Tribe Must Survive is Leaving Early Access in May
After a short Early Access period of only three months, German developer Walking Tree Games and Swedish publisher Starbreeze Entertainment will release version 1.0 of The Tribe Must Survive on 23 May 2024.
Walking Tree Games from Karlsruhe and publisher Starbreeze Entertainment will release The Tribe Must Survive on PC on 23 May 2024. The game will have been in Early Access for three months, as stated in the Early Access description. In this three-month period, the development team has focused on enhancing the game's mechanics and balance, as well as incorporating player feedback.
"Having Early Access for The Tribe Must Survive turned out to be a great decision. The generous player feedback has allowed us to improve lots of things about the game, from squashing bugs and UX changes all the way to new gameplay mechanics and entirely new features. It's been an exciting journey and we’re super grateful to have such a supportive community. We hope they will have tons of fun with the 1.0 Launch," says Simon Mittrücker, Co-Founder and Game Director of Walking Tree Games.
The 1.0 release will bring new features such as improved meta progression, more gameplay depth, new content and an improved first-time player experience that will increase replayability. The full release will also include bug fixes, balancing and UI improvements based on community feedback.
Walking Tree Games is an independent German development studio based in Karlsruhe, founded by Simon Mittrücker and Georg Meyer, who previously worked together in the games industry. The studio was founded in 2021. The Tribe Must Survive is their first game.
