Capcom, astragon/Team17 and THQ Nordic Reveal Line-Ups

With just a few weeks to go before gamescom, more and more details about the planned appearances at gamescom are being revealed. Following Bandai Namco, Capcom, astragon/Team 17 and THQ Nordic have now also unveiled almost all the details.
Almost all the details, because the companies naturally want to keep a few surprises up their sleeves. In any case, publishers usually only announce the line-ups for the B2C sector and sometimes show additional titles behind closed doors in the business area.
Capcom, for example, has announced that gamescom visitors will be able to get their hands on Pragmata, due for release in 2026, for the first time in the entertainment area. In addition to Pragmate, Resident Evil Requiem, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Street Fighter™ 6 and Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess will also be on display and playable at the nearly 1,000 square metre booth. Capcom will have a total of over 85 demo stations in operation in the B2C area.
THQ Nordic has not only confirmed its attendance at gamescom, but has also provided details about the games that visitors can expect to see there. THQ Nordic plans to bring a total of three games to Cologne, one of which will be announced at the THQ Nordic Digital Showcase on 1 August. The other two titles are the Gothic 1 remake and the horror game Reanimal.
Astragon and its sister company Team17 will be bringing even more games to the show. The two companies are joining forces for a joint appearance in Hall 6, where they will be showcasing a wide range of titles. Astragon will be bringing two titles to Cologne: Firefighting Simulation and Seafarer: The Ship Sim. Team17 will be showcasing Golf With Your Friends 2, Sintopia, Wraith Ops, Rogue Point and Nice Day for Fishing. Further titles are also set to be shown on stage. Astragon has also confirmed that it will be presenting a new, previously unannounced simulation IP in the business area.
Bandai Namco, which won the gamescom award for best booth in 2023, already revealed some details about its line-up yesterday. The focus will be on three titles in particular: Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree, a new demo version of Little Nightmares III, and an immersive experience in the world of The Blood of Dawnwalker.
