It’s sad, but no surprise, dear readers,

that Sony Interactive Entertainment won’t be returning as an exhibitor at gamescom this year either. Given the ever-growing list of confirmed attendees, it won’t make much of a difference to the exhibition as a whole. Especially as there will still be plenty of PlayStation 5 games to try out. But speaking of gamescom: we’ve updated our ‘Road to gamescom’ exhibition guide again today, including advice for all parents in the games industry who want to – or have to – bring their young children to the event so they can do business there. It’s also worth keeping an eye on our other service articles, as the event overview has expanded further.

Here are the news of the day!
