until someone would try to set an example regarding Sony's decision to stop producing physical disks for games. It's only logical that it would be the Stop Killing Games initiative, who is using this case to further a lawsuit that has already been in the works for some months. And the argument itself is quite logical: If there are no more physical games players can get on sale at their retailer or buy used, then the digital storefront of PlayStation would get a market advantage, if not to say a monopoly. Stop Killing Games and their partner Does it Play argue, then, that these digital games should be cheaper, and call markups they have found a 'Sony tax'. We will see how the court in Utrecht evaluates the case; it will certainly be an interesting example, especially with the Dutch courts tending to being on the more consumer-oriented side of the law's interpretations.

MTG Renames Its ‘Gaming Village’ Districts to Playamp and Playsimple
