GamesMarket Daily – 22. July 26: Spain, UK, G4C Awards, Paintbucket,EA, Powell Group
Following a mega gamescom Tuesday, new market data from Spain is due out today. Meanwhile, the Games For Change Awards were presented in New York, where a German studio also had cause to celebrate.

Spain has published its market figures for 2025, and unfortunately these did not bring any pleasant surprises for the industry. Although total turnover has fallen only slightly, a fairly significant slump can be seen in the PC and console games segments, whilst the mobile sector is growing. The fact that hardware sales have also risen in Spain at least offers hope that things will improve this year and in the years to come.
Here are the news of the day!
