Gentle Troll Releases Tavern Talk: Tempest Tantrum DLC

The successful cosy game Tavern Talk from Würzburg studio Gentle Troll has received its first DLC, Temper Tantrum, yesterday. The game currently stands at very positive Steam ratings, the DLC will release on Switch as well later on. Gentle Troll has also hinted at their next project.
Yesterday, the first DLC for Gentle Troll’s smash hit visual novel Tavern Talk has released. Tempest Tantrum adds another interactable character into the game from Würzburg, several new drinks and about three hours of new narrative content.
Since its release in June this year and and not least because of successful influencer cooperations and social media marketing, Tavern Talk has amassed almost 900 user reviews on Steam, 89 per cent of them positive. Tempest Tantrum is currently out on Steam, with a Switch release coming later, the studio says.
Gentle Troll CEO Michel Wacker celebrated the release on LinkedIn, hinting also at the next project of the studio: “The team worked away on this hard over the last weeks besides everything else that's been going on: a new prototype for a brand new game, pitches for exciting new endeavors, and various contract jobs. I know it's become a beaten phrase, but I truly couldn't be more proud of the team and what they've accomplished in this short amount of time. We've started working on the DLC right after launch when we realized the 150.000 wishlists the game had gathered would turn into a community of invested players. Three months, some good 25.000 words later, translated into four languages it's here.”
