The fact that GG Bavaria continues to grow in its fourth edition and is once again setting new standards impressively demonstrates that our strategy is working. We are investing specifically in the creative minds of our state in order to emerge from the economic crisis with fresh ideas for new sectors and secure our top positions in tomorrow's markets today!"
This year's GG Bavaria Business Day will take place the day before the Deutscher Computerspielpreis (DCP, or German Computer Game Award) in Munich. The DCP will be held on 29 April.
As in previous years, there will be a Career Space presented this time by Start Into Media. Here, the focus will be on training opportunities, study options and entry-level roles in the industry. Various universities and educational institutions will also provide insights into their offerings. Represented institutions include the SAE Institute Munich, the universities of Bamberg, Bayreuth and Würzburg, the University of Applied Sciences Kempten and the Technical University of Augsburg.
The Cosplay Contest, organised in collaboration with Animexx e.V., and the Artist Area at GG Bavaria will also return. A concert featuring video games music performed by the Munich band Oblivion is planned for Friday. Saturday will feature a live Puls Gaming Analysis on the main stage at GG Bavaria, while Sunday will see a Women in Games panel to mark International Women's Day. Also on Sunday, the GG Awards 2026 will be presented in two additional categories this year.
