The success story continues for Giants Software. Over four million copies of Farming Simulator 25 have been sold in the year since its release. At the same time, a second Season Pass, comprising additional packs and a major expansion, will extend the game throughout 2026.

While two packs will be released in the first and second quarters of the next year, the fourth quarter will see the release of something bigger: another major expansion. This follows the recent Highlands Fishing expansion, which introduced an environment inspired by the Scottish Highlands and aquaculture, alongside over 20 new machines and gameplay mechanics. More information will follow soon. Aside from the Year 2 Season Pass, a variety of free content is already in production and expected to be released throughout 2026.

"It's amazing," says Boris Stefan, CSO and Head of Publishing at Giants Software. "It's not the sales number itself, but the enormous engagement and the overwhelmingly positive feedback we received from our community following the conclusion of Year 1. We're grateful for our fans and four Million farmers and do not take this success for granted."

Farming Simulator 25 is available for PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Farming Simulator 25: Highlands Fishing Edition includes the main game and the Highlands Fishing expansion, and is available via selected channels. Giants Software will also continue to release free content updates and user-generated content on the official ModHub.
