A new independent development studio called Green Parrot Games has been established in Cologne. The studio's goal is to create "vibrant, loud and high-personality" gaming experiences for PCs and consoles. The founding trio — Brenden Gibbons (Game and Narrative Design), Sarah Burrini (Visual Development) and Tom Bockhorn (Technical Direction) - were brought together through Fourth Moon Games' matchmaking process to ensure they shared a common philosophy. Green Parrot Games is the second studio to be established with the support of Fourth Moon Games, an indie studio builder that empowers leaders by providing administrative, financial, and strategic support.

"The founding of Green Parrot is a very unusual circumstance," says Brenden Gibbons, a game designer known for his work on Oddsparks, Say No! More, and Last Day of June. "We realized we shared a lot of common ground in how we want to work. Being seniors in our fields and clear-eyed about the challenges of running a business made this serendipity make sense. We are tending this proverbial garden together to see what bears fruit."

"I'm looking for a creative environment where I can actively shape projects," Burrini explains. "Comics and video games make a hell of a team. Fourth Moon provides the framework that makes founding a studio feel tangible, allowing me to focus on creating worlds with a distinctive style and a dose of silly humor."

"Founding a studio can be scary and stressful," notes Co-Founder Tom Bockhorn, who previously founded TxK Gaming (Dungeon Full Dive). "To have experienced industry pros backing us in complex areas means we’re building on solid ground. Our adventuring party is ready to take on challenges far bigger than any one of us could alone. I really like the idea behind Fourth Moon Games of supporting creative founders to help them focus on the core craft of making amazing games."
