HandyGames has announced a mobile version of Maneater. The "full PC and console experience" will be available on iOS and Android. It is due to be released on 15 December 2025. It is available to pre-order on the Apple App Store for $9.99 and to pre-register on Google Play.

David Amata, Product Director at Tripwire Interactive: "Bringing Maneater to mobile devices is a huge milestone for the game, and we’re incredibly excited for a whole new group of players to experience this over-the-top power fantasy. The core of the game remains perfectly intact, delivering the ultimate ShaRkPG experience on the go."

Since its original launch in 2020, "ShaRkPG" has amassed over 17 million players across PC and console platforms. Now, a whole new audience can experience the game, which is narrated by Chris Parnell (of Rick and Morty and Saturday Night Live fame). In Maneater, players take control of a shark, starting as a vulnerable pup and tasked with surviving in a harsh world by literally eating their way up the food chain.

HandyGames is a THQ Nordic company and part of the Embracer Group family. It operates as an international publisher and developer of indie and premium mobile games.
