Ticket sales for the world's largest games trade show have begun with the opening of the ticket shop on the new gamescom.global website. Trade visitors can purchase day and 3-day tickets. Accreditation for press and developers will begin shortly.

With more than five months to go, ticket sales for gamescom 2024 have begun. Tickets can now be purchased in a variety of ways via the newly designed gamescom.global website. Tickets will only be sold online; there will be no on-site ticket sales this year.

gamescom tickets will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, although this only applies to the consumer sector, especially on Saturday and Sunday. Trade visitors will have no problem getting tickets for the days when the business area is open. This year gamescom opens on Wednesday 21 August with the Media and Trade Visitor Day. The business area closes on the evening of 23 August. The entertainment area runs until Sunday evening.

As in previous years, trade visitors can choose between a day ticket and a 3-day ticket. The trade visitors tickets give access to the business and entertainment areas as well as the B2B platform gamescom biz.

With the optional green tickets, visitors can take part in gamescom goes green and make a contribution to environmental and climate protection. Proceeds will benefit the gamescom forest, which has grown to over 25,000 square metres since its creation near the city of Bayreuth.

Registration for journalists and developers will also open shortly. The organisers from game and Koelnmesse did not give an exact date. Tickets are not yet on sale for this year's Opening Night Live, which has not yet been officially confirmed but is expected to take place on the evening of 20 August.

Tickets for the devcom developer conference, which takes place from 18 to 20 August, are available from the event shop (devcom.global).

Last year 320,000 visitors from 100 countries visited gamescom. 31,000 of those were trade visitors.
