The MDM - Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung has published the first funding decision of 2026, taken on 21 April. Seven game studios will receive funding in three categories, among them several of those that had exhibited at Indie Ground just this weekend on caggtus Leipzig. Among them are Level Labs, RotxBlau as well as Narradiver, the narrative firm by MacroMedia Leipzig narrative professor Marcus Klöppel behind InErGa that has newly turned game dev studio as well.

New Media Project Development / Emerging Talent

  • Enchoi Games GbR with Ec(h)osystem: €100,000.00
  • Sebastian Schlesinger with The Inn Between: €100,000.00
  • Level Labs GmbH with DrillScape: €70,000.00

Concept Development/Emerging Talent

  • Traveller's Box GbR with Cardlift: €30,000.00
  • Narradiver UG with ForEverRest €30,000.00

Storyworld Development/Emerging Talent (Transmedia)

  • RotxBlau UG with Jahr des Dankes (AT): €30,000.00
  • Crimson Crows Studio Hammer & Do GbR with Prometheus 1929: €30,000.00
