The House of Games Berlin is entering its final implementation phase in 2026. Since January, it has been led by the state-owned Wista Management and the Senate Department for Economics, Energy, and Public Enterprises. Furthermore, responsibility for games policy has been centralised.

Bavarian Games Division Head Natascha Grünpeter is now the leader of a new Digital Bavaria department. Her new department encompasses five areas of digitalisation in the state, including games. The games division now officially supports esports as well.
