Christopher Wulf joins Evil Empire as the new Senior Business & Event Manager for The Triple-i Initiative. Evil Empire is based in France, but Wulf will work remotely from Cologne. "It is safe to say that our showcase in April was the biggest project I've been fortunate enough to work on so far, and after the positive reception across the board, I'm incredibly excited and fortunate to continue working with my colleagues including Benjamin, Bérenger and Xin on future projects under the triple-i initiative label," Wulf wrote on LinkedIn. From January to June 2024, he already worked in project management for The Triple-i Initiative. Before that, he worked as publishing director for Those Awesome Guys. He was festival manager for LudoNarraCon and responsible for developer relations at the Indie Megabooth.
The Triple-i Initiative is a new showcase for independent video game developers. A few months ago, the project was just an idea by Evil Empire, the French studio behind the last five years of Dead Cells content. Now it is a collaborative effort with the support of indie studios such as Re-Logic (Terraria) and Mega Crit (Slay the Spire). The first Triple-i Initiative debuted on 10 April. It featured 36 games in just under 45 minutes. A little more than a week after it was broadcast, the showcase had already been viewed more than two million times.
