The game – German Games Industry Association (game - Verband der deutschen Games-Branche) has now presented two new employees: Philipp Senkbeil will take over the position of Head of Office from 1 June. Vanessa Zeuch has been strengthening the team since mid-May as a Manager Funding & Regional Affairs.
Both positions have been newly created and reflect the ever-increasing range of tasks of the association. "game has undergone an incredible development: whether in terms of membership, employees or subsidiaries – the association has grown significantly in almost all areas in recent years. In addition, the increasing complexity of numerous topics requires a great deal of attention," comments Felix Falk, Managing Director of game. In 2023, the association's structure was reviewed in an internal strategy process. This is how the two new positions were created, which are now being filled.

In his role as Head of the Office, he will take over the management of the Finance, Human Resources, Processes and IT departments and is to further develop the processes between the office and the subsidiaries USK, Stiftung Digitale Spielekultur, game Events (previously: devcom), esports player foundation and VHG – Verwertungsgesellschaft für die Hersteller von Games. He will also take on individual projects, such as representing game in the ‘House of Games’ project, in his role, in which he will report directly to game managing director Felix Falk.
Zeuch joined game from the Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg, where she was responsible for location development and games promotion. At game, she is working in a newly created position as Manager Funding & Regional Affairs in the team of Maren Raabe, Director of PA. Zeuch is primarily responsible for the promotion of games, but also for the increasingly important issue of games policy in the federal states. She also takes over some of the tasks of Ina Göring, Director of Membership & Funding.
