Daedalic Entertainment has expanded its publishing team with two experienced additions. Sebastian Schmidt returns to Daedalic as Editorial Producer, while Max Kübler takes on responsibilities in business development and game scouting.

With these two new team members, Daedalic Entertainment heads into spring reinforced. Sebastian ‘Bade’ Schmidt took on the role of Editorial Producer on 1 March. Schmidt has previously worked at Daedalic, initially as a game designer and later, from 2007 onwards, as Head of Game Design. He subsequently worked as a freelancer.

Max Kübler will begin his role as Business Development Manager on 1 April. After a stint at Deck13, Kübler most recently worked for an international accelerator.

"With Bade, a true Daedalic veteran is returning—someone who understands our DNA and will enrich our portfolio with his experience. Max brings fresh perspectives from the international games industry – a perfect combination for Daedalic’s continued growth," says CEO Carsten Fichtelmann.

COO Jonas Hüsges adds: "Bade and Max are taking on two very different but strategically important roles. Bade is immersing himself in our projects with a wealth of experience and helping to elevate them, which benefits both us and the development teams. Max, meanwhile, is expanding our network and bringing exciting new titles into the company. I’m very much looking forward to working with both of them."
