Zumindest eine Hardware-Neuheit ist dem Messepublikum am GC-Stand von Sony Computer Entertainment gewiss: In Leipzig wird der Konsolenhersteller erstmals die neue Pink-Edition der PlayStation 2 vorstellen. Für eine europaweite Veröffentlichung am 8. November vorgesehen, soll die neue Farbvariante offensichtlich vor allem die weiblichen Spielerschaft ansprechen. Die Konsole kommt in einem Paket auf den Markt, das neben dem Hauptgerät auch zwei pinke Analog-Controller sowie eine Memory Card in gleicher Farbe enthalten wird. Gut 160 Euro soll das Paket kosten.
