The 10th edition of Friendly Fire, widely regarded as Germany's most successful gaming charity stream, has once again surpassed expectations. During the livestream, almost €1.2 million was raised through direct donations. When combined with sponsorship and merchandise revenue, the total amount raised for charity is expected to exceed €2 million.

The anniversary event proved to be a resounding success, setting new records. The Piet Smiet crew and Gronkh, joined by Tatjana "Pandorya" Werth, Pascal "MrMoreGame" Rothkegel, Florian "Der Heider" Heider, Artur "fisHC0p" Niemczuk, Max "PhunkRoyal" Ensikat, and others, spearheaded the effort. Together, they inspired viewers to contribute €1.2 million during the Friendly Fire 10 livestream.

However, direct donations are just part of Friendly Fire's charitable impact. Merchandise sales and sponsorships significantly boost the total. As of Saturday, an early estimate revealed merchandise revenue of approximately €720,000, along with an additional €100,000 from sponsorships. Lena Laaser, the Project Lead, shared these preliminary figures during the livestream, moving the creators to tears.

With all contributions accounted for, Friendly Fire 10 has raised more than €2 million for charity—a testament to the event's enduring success and the generosity of its community. The money collected this year will go to the following organisations: Amadeu Antonio Stiftung, Loki Schmidt Stiftung, Goldeimer gGmbH, NCL Stiftung, Enable Me, Tierfreunde Münster e.V. an Silbernetz e.V. One-eighth of the total will go to the Friendly Fire Nothilfefond (Friendly Fire emergency fund).

In June, the team behind Friendly Fire had reason to celebrate when they received the German Fundraising Award for the Friendly Fire 9 stream. Friendly Fire 9 took place in December 2020, raised over €1.35 million, and brought the total amount raised by the format since its inception to over €10 million.
