Publisher Atari Deutschland gab bekannt, dass das Spiel "Shadow Ops - Red Mercury" (Xbox, PC) die "THX Games Certification" erhalten hat. Dazu sagte Jean Phillipe Agati, Executive Producer des Spiels bei Atari: "'Shadow Ops' beinhaltet ein sehr detailliertes und tiefgängiges Sounduniversum. Eine so emotionale Spieltiefe wurde selten zuvor in einem Actiontitel geboten. Erst der Einsatz der THX-Technologie machte dies möglich."
