This year's Xbox Games Showcase in June will feature games from Activision and Blizzard for the first time, as well as games from Bethesda, Xbox Game Studios and third-party partners. The Showcase will be followed by a special Deep Dive.

The Xbox Games Showcase will be livestreamed on 9 June 2024, starting at 19.00 (CET). Like the double-feature last year with Starfield Direct, immediately following the Xbox Games Showcase, Microsoft will be airing a special deep-dive into the next instalment of a "beloved franchise". In the promotional material, the name of the game is redacted, but the Cerberus and the Capitol hint at a Call of Duty announcement, as this year's instalment of the shooter series, this time with lead developer Treyarch, has yet to be officially announced.

This will be the first showcase featuring games from studios across Activision, Blizzard, Bethesda and Xbox Game Studios, in addition to titles from third-party partners.

"You'll be able to enjoy both of our June 9 livestreams live through a variety of outlets, and in over 30 languages, and American Sign Language and English Audio Descriptions," says Microsoft. "June 9's double-feature broadcast also kicks off a week's worth of coverage here on Xbox Wire and The Official Xbox Podcast, featuring updates and deep-dives on a ton of games." Xbox will host a premier viewing event in Los Angeles, and Xbox FanFest is giving away tickets.
