Panic Stations, a new UK-based development studio founded by industry veterans, has just been announced. Their goal is to create co-op games. The studio is part of Skeleton Crew, a collective of independent gaming companies united by shared values.

The team of six industry veterans who founded Panic Stations have a lot of experience from Mediatonic (Fall Guys): Steve Taylor (Engineering Director), Dan Hoang (Art & Music Director), Joe Walsh (Design Director), Oliver Hindle, Paul Croft and Josh Tarrant. Hoang led the original character design and visual direction for Fall Guys. Walsh was the creative mind behind Fall Guys, while Croft co-founded Mediatonic and the Tonic Games Group.

Paul Croft: "I'm a huge fan of the online co-op space and it's been amazing to see it evolve over the last few years. It is really exciting to team-up with some old friends - we're aiming to build games that bring immediate joy to players and bring people closer together. (...) Joe Walsh added: "I couldn't pass up the opportunity to get the proverbial band back together and make the silliest possible games we can dream up. All hands to the panic stations! (...)
