Microsoft is planning another Developer_Direct this year. This fourth instalment of the show, which features developer teams presenting their games, will be broadcast on 22 January 2026 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time (1 p.m. Eastern Time, 6 p.m. UK Time, and 7 p.m. Central European Time). Three games have already been confirmed for this edition: two from Playground Games in the UK and one from Game Freak in Japan.

The show will include two titles from Playground Games: an extended first look at the upcoming RPG Fable and the debut of gameplay for Forza Horizon 6, including the reveal of new features and how Japan comes to life in this new instalment of the open world arcade racing game. There will also be an in-depth look at Beast of Reincarnation, which was revealed at the Xbox Games Showcase last year. This action RPG features a protagonist and their dog. Game Freak will reveal details of protagonist Emma's plant manipulation abilities and her interactions with her canine companion, Koo.
