It is not yet clear, for example, when Night City will be launching. However, it is set to be released simultaneously at all Zero Latency VR locations worldwide. According to the company, the Australian company currently operates over 150 locations across 30 countries. In Germany, Zero Latency VR experiences are available in Munich, Stuttgart, Dortmund, Hanover, Fürth and Unna. In Austria, there are two locations in Vienna and one in Spielberg; in Switzerland, there are locations in Zurich and Winterthur, as well as in Basel and Geneva. Elsewhere in Europe, there are also locations in the UK, France, Spain, Italy, Norway, Denmark, Portugal, Ireland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ireland, the Netherlands and Belgium.

According to Zero Latency VR, the new experience is built specifically for Zero Latency VR’s free-roam technology. It will allow players to physically move together through a shared space, offering a new way to explore the world of Cyberpunk 2077. “Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most richly imagined worlds in modern entertainment,” said Tim Ruse, CEO of Zero Latency VR. “What makes this collaboration special is how naturally it aligns with what we do best. Zero Latency experiences are about freedom of movement and shared adrenaline, and Night City is a world that begs to be explored at a human scale. CD Projekt Red are experts in their craft, and we’re looking forward to creating a new, unforgettable adventure.”

Cyberpunk 2077 isn’t the first franchise to get its own spin-off for Zero Latency VR. The Australian location-based VR company’s portfolio also includes games from the Far Cry and Warhammer 40K: Space Marines universes, amongst others. Just at the beginning of February, Zero Latency VR also announced its first collaboration with a movie studio, Sony Pictures. This collaboration is set to result in a location-based VR experience based on the Jumanji IP in 2026, presumably to coincide with the cinema release of the new film in December 2026.
